about

General Theme:

Streets is a song about remembering where you've came from. From past experiences with your closest friends, to wishing you were in a totally different place; this song is about knowing your roots and taking pride of your hometown no matter how hard things get.

lyrics

Verse:
I was left
It was cold
And I know that I should stay
If you go
Then I'll know
That somethings never changed
I would go around
In my hometown
In the streets that I used to know
I would go around and settle down
And discover the unknown

Chorus:
These streets, these streets I used to know
Holding up fine
These streets, these streets I used to know
Better than mine
You and I
You and I
You and I

Verse:
In the darkest night
And it's close to 12
I can feel it running through my head
In the quietest way
By my bedroom door
We can write a song that means nothing more
Than being loved and loving her
And selfish times and she's insecure
We can write this down, just tear it down
And we'll feel the weight again
We'll feel the weight again

Chorus:
These streets, these streets I used to know
Holding up fine
These streets, these streets I used to know
Better than mine
You and I
You and I
You and I

Bridge:
Everywhere that I go
I discover a new home
A way that we can rediscover the weight again
Everywhere that I go (I go)
I discover a new home
A way that we can rediscover the weight again
Ohhh ohhh
Ohhh ohhh

Chorus:
These streets, these streets I used to know
Holding up fine
These streets, these streets I used to know
Better than mine
You and I
You and I
You and I
Yeah

You and I
You and I
